The library is clean always, although i hardly go inside. The only thing i dont like is the director, im not even sure what she even directs other than her mouth. The director lies too much! Today i was sitting out front using the wifi an she came out to tell me to move my car because it was in the way. She said the mail man just passed us up because your car was in the way. And that was a lie, the mail man came, spoke to me an smiled an placed the mail in the box. I told her the mailman did not pass you up an that he placed the mail in the box. I did move my car, but i just hate her attitude which is why i NEVER go inside to use any of there services. After i told her the mail man did not pass them up she goes "oh so he did put it in the box" ma'am before you came out with an attitude you should of just checked the mail box first, thats common sense. An i wouldnt have to park so close to the building if there was better wifi services. Wifi is terrible, one day its working, next day it isnt. One day its picking up fine, next day you literraly have to park so close to just get a weak signal. From now on ill stick with Mc'Donalds. ✌✌
This library is useless! In the computer lab the internet don't work, they claim they installed a new internet and somehow it interrupted the internet. You can be on the computer for 5 minutes and then you get a signal that say no internet. Also, why is the computer lab always so hot! I went in there and the thermostat on the wall said 80 degrees. On top of that it wont hurt to install some type of air freshner in the computer lab, its already hot so that makes odors more noticeable. Lastly, the pregnant black woman who works in the computer lab needs to find her a call center job because she gossips waaaay to much. Everytime someone leaves the computer lab she run to the front desk and talk about them and whatever else she need to ramble on about. Im not sure if she just keeping a eye on the black guy who works there or if she is just a messy person. She is far toooo old to be doing that, but overall turn the air on and fix the internet!
Personally, I have had nothing but good encounters with the Phillips County Public Library. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is open and airy. Our library is a bright spot in Phillips County. Keep up the good work!
