Always love eating here. The food is great and the staff are wonderful!!
Update: Change to 4-star. We braved going two more times and while the spaghetti sauce " salsa was the same, the fajitas were very good!
So, improve salsa and offer mixed drinks and I think this place would be better.
Original rating was 3 star! The food is average with "salsa that tastes more like spaghetti sauce than salsa. The absolute worst quesadilla I've ever eaten was here. When Taco Bell's quesadillas are better, you know there's a problem! Most other dishes leave Taco Bell in the dust, which is expected.
Not a lot of options in this area. But it's good food and service, so....
We ordered for pick-up tonight. After getting home and setting the table I discovered that El Rio was amazing! I have eaten Mexican American food from all over the country and they just topped some of the best food I've had! Everything was hot and flavorful! Not what I was expecting at all. I just assumed we would have some mediocre Mexican food but I was proven to be wrong everything was delicious. My chicken was cooked to perfection and so delicious. I will definitely be back!
My meal was pretty tasty. However the salsa tasted like pizza sauce with pepper in it. They really need to work on that salsa. There is a bar here but at the time they couldn't make mixed drinks.
